The International Association for the Rights of Needy and Suffering Children (IARNSC) is a Canadian registered, non-profit, charitable organisation (NPCO) working specifically in Southeast Asia.The priorities of the IARNSC are to provide help in three distinct areas: health, education and access to drinkable water for needy children.The IARNSC consists of 3 permanent volunteer members and other volunteer collaborators who also work to achieve the same goals as the IARNSC. The executive permanent members and other volunteer collaborators agree to defray all travelling and administrative costs and expenses.

The vision of a great man, M. Lester B. Pearson.

The foundation of the International Association for the rights of Needy and Suffering Children (IARNSC) : the honourable former Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Lester B. Person (Nobel Peace Prize in 1957) The inspiration behind the orientation de the association, the crucial decisions defining its? direction, was motivated by the perceptive soul of Mr. Lester B. Pearson. Mr. Person believed that the growth of humanity is dependent upon the symbiosis of one being with another. His precept of interdependence, of living together in complementary harmony and mutual aid, of individuals in communion with one another, led him to a vision of humanitarian renaissance, attainable within our lifespan. Rebirth to a greater level of understanding of our common humanity, through faith in unity.

To promote social change, priority is given to healthcare, education and access to a clean drinking water. Here is the line of action and the general orientations of the International Association for the Rights of Needy and Suffering Children (IARNSC) and its members:

• Making sure that our presence in any given area of the various provinces is temporary and done on a rotating basis so that no one province is favoured and that situations of dependency are avoided.
• Making sure that the project development is done in a fair manner to avoid any social injustices or inequalities.
• Making sure that only agreements and contracts that will improve the quality of life and social accomplishments are accepted.
• Making sure that all projects include follow-ups of the humanitarian aid given only after the IARSNC has withdrawn from the tasks and only after they are carried out.
• Making sure that the IARSNC pursues its program by providing sustained assistance and carrying out visits in order to follow up and ensure that the projects continue to have positive social repercussions.
• Developing social projects by building unique partnerships with the various groups in a context of selfless giving.
• To reduce the mortality rate in children under five years of age and to teach parents and local populations skills in providing basic hygiene.
• To reduce the number of infectious diseases.
• To educate and inform the populations about the prevention of children diseases.
• To develop and implement a health program in collaboration with the International Red Cross.
• To improve learning conditions.
• To provide children with a better knowledge and tools to improve their living conditions.
• To enhance communication methods between people and countries in order that they may help and assist each other.
• To provide children with the necessary tools in order to improve their own lives, and restore hope in reducing or eliminating suffering as much as possible.
• To provide access to non polluted water for both nutritional and hygienic needs.
• To prevent children drinking from surface water holes and water pounds where livestock also drink.
• To prevent children from walking several kilometres daily carrying containers with polluted water.
• To grow vegetables during the dry season.
• It is quite possible to believe then that with such a program in place, we can develop a genuine spirit of true giving and true accountability.
